The extension processes screenshots locally in your browser. Screenshots are not uploaded to Deepsach Research or to any external server.
1. Overview
Full Page Screenshot is a browser extension created by Deepsach Research for capturing, editing and exporting webpage screenshots. The extension is designed to operate locally in the user's browser.
2. Data collection
The extension may access and process webpage content locally and temporarily when the user initiates a screenshot capture. This data is processed only within the user's browser and is not transmitted to Deepsach Research or to any external server. Deepsach Research does not sell, store, or use this content for tracking, analytics, advertising, or profiling.
3. Webpage access
When the user explicitly starts a capture, the extension temporarily accesses and processes content from the active webpage as needed to create the requested screenshot. This access is user-initiated, limited to the active webpage, and used only for the screenshot operation.
4. Screenshot processing
Screenshot capture, stitching, cropping, annotation, blur, image conversion and PDF generation are performed locally in the browser. Screenshot data is not sent to an external API, cloud service or remote processing server.
5. Permissions
The extension uses limited browser permissions for its core features:
- activeTab — temporary access to the active webpage after user interaction.
- scripting — runs the local capture logic on the active webpage when requested.
- downloads — saves exported screenshots and PDF files to the user's device.
6. Analytics and tracking
The extension does not include advertising, analytics, telemetry, behavioral tracking or third-party tracking scripts.
7. Accounts
No account, login or registration is required to use the extension.
8. External links
The extension may display a link to the Deepsach Research YouTube channel. External websites have their own privacy practices and are not controlled by this extension.
9. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated if the extension's features or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page.
